I’m the president and founder of Upward Personal Finance. I established this firm to provide a much-needed personal finance consulting resource for women.

While working with high-net-worth clients for nearly a decade as a financial adviser and private banker, it became clear to me that those who need the most help are not getting it and those with big balances and portfolios have several advisers and institutions begging for their business. Very few financial institutions are set up to provide services from the female perspective. Upward Personal Finance was born from the idea that women have unique needs when it comes to understanding and managing money. And, financial services shouldn’t only exist for wealthy, white, middle-aged men. Upward Personal Finance aims to help women starting out, starting over, or those who are well on their way but need a little extra guidance and support.
